Extending the Horizon

Extending the Horizon

In three and a half decades, HKMU has transformed itself into a modern, comprehensive university. Having attained financial and institutional sustainability for a good number of years, we possess the resources needed for institutional advancement. This is the basis of our strategy to enlarge the portfolio of academic programmes, enhance student support, build a strong team to strengthen learning and teaching, research and knowledge transfer, and cultivate international engagement, partnerships and collaboration. We will build more campuses with additional space for teaching and student amenities. We also pledge to further develop the University's governance and administration with enhanced policies and systems to ensure long-term sustainability.

With 54 commitments under the six strategic themes, we are extending our horizon, setting the target of becoming an influential player in the international higher education arena in the long term.
