香港都會大人文社會科學院學田家炳中華文化中心，與人文、語言與翻譯學系於日前(2023年10月5日)成功舉辦 人文都會講座系列：文化雙程路，譯道雙軌綫—芬頓《趙氏孤兒》劇本中譯經驗談。《趙氏孤兒》於十八世紀傳入歐洲，經伏爾泰(Voltaire)改編，在巴黎上演，轟動一時。英國詩人芬頓(James Fenton)於2012年為皇家莎士比亞劇團改編此劇。2017年，上海知名導演徐俊決定將此現代版本，以音樂劇形式，在中國搬上舞臺，並邀請香港中文大學金聖華教授與台灣大學彭鏡禧教授合作將此劇譯為中文。 是次講座有幸邀請到金聖華教授擔任主講嘉賓，及彭鏡禧教授視訊會議參與，在講座中詳細剖析《趙氏孤兒》劇本翻譯的過程、分享兩位譯家的磨合，及當中的趣事。是次講座反應十分熱烈，吸引到不少師生及校外人士埸支持。 金聖華教授乃香港中文大學翻譯學榮休講座教授及榮譽院士，香港翻譯學會榮譽會長 金教授亦心繫本校各位師生，精心挑選了12本的著作，送贈予本校的圖書館。
