QEM Project: HKMU English Creative Writing Competition

This Project provides a medium for undergraduates to brainstorm and embody personal thoughts into words and sentences of creative writing. Students get their fundamentals on poetry and flash fiction from esteemed guests in masterclasses and showcase their writings through our Competition.

Through the period from September 2024 to February 2026, a total of 5 masterclasses regarding poetry and flash fiction were successfully held with the aid from several guest speakers, including Dr. Eric Sandberg, Ms. Tegan Smyth, Ms. Tim Tim Cheng, and Dr. Antony Huen.
