Collaborations to nurture talent in multiple fields

The University has signed memoranda with various parties to foster collaborative talent education in different fields. It has signed a memorandum of intent with the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC), exploring the feasibility of articulating HKIC advanced diploma graduates to the Bachelor's Degree programmes of the School of Science and Technology, as well as the opportunity of jointly developing a part-time Bachelor's Degree programme.

At the School level, the School of Arts and Social Sciences and the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to provide HKAGE students with creative arts and Chinese cultural learning experiences. Meanwhile,the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration has also signed an MOU with Marriott International Hong Kong for collaboration to offer Hotel and Sustainable Tourism Management students opportunities of internship, management training and business case studies.

International Conference on Smart Health Technology

Sponsored by the Croucher Foundation, the School of Science and Technology organized the International Conference on Smart Health Technology 2022 on 25 and 26 March. Speakers discussed how smart health technology helps tackle the challenges brought by the ageing population and contribute to a sustainable future.
