Donations of supplies in support of HKMU's anti-epidemic efforts

HKMU has recently received several donations of supplies in support of its services to the community during the latest coronavirus outbreak. Bamboos Health Care Holdings Limited generously donated 50,000 COVID-19 rapid antigen test (RAT) kits, while the Youth of Guangzhou and Hong Kong Association offered gifts of 160,000 face masks, 10,000 protective gloves and 4,000 RAT kits. Hong Kong United Youth Association distributed packs of surgical masks, RAT kits and medicines directly to HKMU students as well as other local youths in collaboration with the University.

MSF field worker shares relief work experience

Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Jennifer Tong Wing-sze spoke at the fourth lecture of the Talk of the Metropolis series on 25 January, sharing her life-saving stories as a field worker of Médecins Sans Frontières. Conducted in the form of a webinar due to another wave of the pandemic, the talk 'A Different Working Holiday: Around the World in 500 Days' drew over 100 attendees.
