HKMU provides education directly relevant to the needs and aspirations of society. As part of this education mission, we have active engagement with local communities through different kinds of activities and programmes.

HKMU Jockey Club Institute of Healthcare

Our Jockey Club Institute of Healthcare is home to the University's nursing and physiotherapy programmes for training professionals to meet society's needs. Our School of Nursing and Health Studies also trains volunteers to provide services for the aged.

TV broadcast programmes

We share knowledge with the public via our “Knowledge for All” Sunday morning broadcasts on TVB Pearl, which feature recordings of the “Talk of the Metropolis” lecture series as well as many other educational programmes.

Capacity Building Mileage Programme (CBMP)

Our Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education offers the Capacity Building Mileage Programme (CBMP) to address the learning needs of women in our society.

Elder Academy

Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education operates the Elder Academy to address the learning needs of the aged.
