The “HKMU Future Connect Programme” is an initiative designed to empower full-time undergraduate students at HKMU as they navigate their career paths in a dynamic and competitive landscape. This programme aims to foster meaningful connections by pairing students with experienced mentors—alumni and industry professionals—who are dedicated to sharing their knowledge and insights.
Throughout the programme, mentees receive invaluable guidance on academic success, career development, and job market trends from their mentors. Mentors offer personalised support, sharing their work experiences, success stories, and professional advice to help mentees build confidence and competence in their chosen fields.
The “HKMU Future Connect Programme” is a structured and tailored networking initiative designed to:
  • Connect students with alumni and industry professionals to build supportive relationships
  • Foster personal growth and boost confidence during the transition from university to the workplace.
  • Enhance competitiveness in the job market through mentorship and experience sharing.

Audience votes for the best mentor-mentee sharing, and the mentor-mentee group will receive a Best Connect Award ($2,000) to support their continued connections

*Students must attend all workshops and activities under the programme and complete the designated assignments/ log sheets, and evaluation forms. Otherwise, they will not be invited to participate in the four-course dining experience and the closing ceremony.
*Students are required to submit a Participation Log upon completing the self-arranged connectivity activity by 15 March 2026
*Students are required to submit a Reflective Journal and evaluation upon completing the programme by 20 April 2026.
 
Application and Selection
Students interested in the programme should complete the online application form and upload the following documents by 29 Oct 2025 (Wed), 23:59.

*Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to the admission group interview. Interview invitation email will be sent by 3 November 2025.

(Admitted students must submit a refundable deposit of HK$800 within five working days of receiving their admission confirmation to secure their enrollment. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the forfeiture of their place in the programme. The deposit will be refunded upon successful completion of the programme.)
  1. Please carefully review the terms and conditions and fully understand the programme details and schedule, before submitting your application.
  2. Late or incomplete applications (without the necessary supporting documents) will NOT be considered.
  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an admission interview. The SAO will schedule one interview session for each student only. Once enrolled, requests for changes will not be accommodated.
  4. All specified workshops, activities, and events are MANDATORY for confirmed mentees. Absences will be treated as a withdrawal from the programme, and the deposit may not be refunded.
  5. The SAO will make efforts to pair mentees with mentors from their preferred industries or job functions. Please note that there is NO GUARANTEE for the matching, and SAO reserves all the rights to the final decision on the matching.
