Striving for excellence and going beyond limits
The Open University of Hong Kong embarked on a new campus development project in 2017 to build the OUHK Jockey Club Institute of Healthcare. After four years of construction, the Institute has been completed. To commemorate its opening and leave behind precious memories, a time capsule ceremony was held along with the Closing-of-the-Year Celebration Party on 2 February 2021.
Representatives from the University Management, Council, Executive Committee, Students' Union, all Schools and Units were invited to contribute their mementos to the time capsule. The time capsule sealing ceremony was officiated by Pro-Chancellor Dr Charles Lee Yeh-kwong, Council Chairman Mr Michael Wong Yick-kam, and President Prof. Yuk-Shan Wong. The time capsule will be re-opened in the year 2046.
