From May to September 2023, the School of Nursing and Health Studies (N&HS) collaborated with the Health Resource Centre of the Prince of Wales Hospital for a “HA Go” Ambassador Service Programme aimed at encouraging patients to install the mobile app “HA Go”, which connects patients beyond hospital care and enables patients to manage their own health. Around 420 Year 1 Bachelor of Nursing with Honours in General Health Care students participated in the programme.

At the volunteer recognition ceremony held by the New Territories East Cluster of the Hospital Authority in December 2023, the School was presented with the Organisation Volunteer Service Award as an acknowledgement of their efforts in promoting community health.

N&HS has initiated various community outreach programmes to encourage its students to serve the community. A recent initiative was a Health Expo held in October 2023, at which a wide range of community health services were provided to the general public. The School is now planning for another Health Expo to be held in March 2024.
