HKMU hosts alumni dinners in Hong Kong and Shenzhen to celebrate its 35th Anniversary

Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) President Prof. Paul Lam Kwan-sing led a university delegation to visit Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. During the trip, they met with the Deputy Director-General of the Education Department of Zhejiang Province, Shu Pei-dong. They also attended a symposium with members of the Education Department of Zhejiang province, the Director of the Zhejiang Liaison Unit of the HKSAR Government, Terence Lau Ming-tak, and representatives from local universities to explore cooperation in the areas of student exchange and curriculum development between Hong Kong and the Mainland.
During the visit, the HKMU delegation visited the Hangzhou Institute of Advanced Study of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang Shuren University, Hangzhou Dianzi University, and Alibaba Group. The HKMU School of Nursing and Health Studies also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital of the Zhejiang University School of Medicine to reinforce cooperation in professional nursing training.

The delegation exchanged views with local universities, research institutes and enterprises on deepening education and research cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration between HKMU and various institutions.
