Details:
Four students from the accounting programmes of Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration were awarded the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) Qualification Programme (QP) awards and scholarships recently. Among them, part-time student Lau Tsz-ki received the Silver Award (BDO Prize) of QP Capstone Examination (December 2021 Session), while full-time student Lam Chak-man was awarded the QP Scholarship 2022. In addition, Jiang Yurong and Pang Ling-lung were granted the HKICPA Scholarship 2021-22. Three award recipients attended the QP Top Student Award and Scholarship Presentation Ceremony organised by the HKICPA at the end of September to share their joy with other award-winning students.

The HKICPA QP Programme comprises three progressive levels, allowing students from different education backgrounds to become accountants through multiple pathways. After completing the relevant courses and examinations, and accumulating required practical work experience, students can register as Certified Public Accountants (CPA), whose professional qualifications are fully recognised by many prestigious accounting organisations worldwide.
