Details:
Sleepless Night, an animation directed by Animation and Visual Effects graduates Lau Wing-wa, Cheng Hoi-tong and Sau Cheuk-yiu, won Hong Kong Best Art in the 25^th DigiCon6 ASIA Awards, representing yet another recognition of the artistic level of HKMU animators. Earlier, the film has earned the Best Creative Award in the Creative Achievement Awards 2023.

Organised by Tokyo Broadcasting System Holdings, Inc. (TBS Japan), the DigiCon6 ASIA Awards is a prestigious annual digital content competition in Asia. It welcomes the participation of aspiring and talented creators throughout Asia, with regional contests organised in various Asian regions. The winners in each regional contest are eligible to further compete for the GRAND Awards. DigiCon6 ASIA Awards is therefore an excellent platform for digital content creators to learn from their counterparts and the prestigious Asian masters and judges through networking and exchange.

Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association has been the co-organiser of the Hong Kong regional contest for years. This year saw an adjustment to the award items, with the winning entries of Hong Kong Gold, Hong Kong Best Art and Hong Kong Best Story being nominated for the GRAND Awards of the 25^th DigiCon6 ASIA Awards.
