建築與品質管理系(CQM)是香港都會大學(HKMU)科技學院(S&T)於2022年成立的學術部門。本學系提供各類本科和研究生課程,包含土木工程、建築服務工程、測量、工程管理、測試科學和認證等專業領域。
本學系旨在培養具備堅實的理論基礎、實踐技能和領導能力的學生。課程旨在為學生提供對建築、測試和認證行業及其管理的全面理解,以培養能夠應對行業挑戰及快速發展的專業人才。我們的本科課程得到了國際專業機構——HKIE和HKICA的廣泛認可。另一方面,我們的研究生課程為學生提供了工程項目管理、建築成本管理、測試科學和認證管理等專業領域的進階知識和技能。
本學系非常注重研究和創新,教職員活躍於建築工程、管理和智能技術相關的研究項目,我們的研究成果亦在行業內備受讚譽。除了教育和研究外,我們更積極與業界夥伴合作,為學生提供實踐經驗和實習機會。學生更有機會參與研究項目,了解行業面臨的實際問題和進行研究。
總括而言,本學系致力於在建築和質量管理領域提供高質量的教育、研究和與行業緊密合作,培養學生具備領導和成功的能力,進而在建築、測試和認證行業中取得成功。

檢測和認證證書課程

實務途徑 入讀JSSU61學位課程 (現正接受報名!)

課程旨在為提供檢測和認證方面的實用技能和知識。學生透過實踐和應用,學習物理和機械測試、電子和電氣測試、化學和生物測試,以及質量保證相關的基礎知識和技能,裝備成為檢測和認證的專業工作者。

學生於聯招報名JSSU61後,修畢此證書課程 並取得合格成績,便可符合綜合檢測和認證榮譽應用理學士 (JSSU61) 的入學資格

After graduating from OUHK, Krutz obtained an M.Sc. in Engineering Management from CityU. He is now completing his second master degree, M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, at CUHK. Krutz has a wide range of working experience. He has been with Siemens, VTech, and PCCW.

Hugo Leung Wai-yin, who graduated from his four-year programme in 2015, won the Best Paper Award for his ‘intelligent pill-dispenser’ design at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering’s International Conference on Consumer Electronics – China 2015.

The pill-dispenser alerts patients via sound and LED flashes to pre-set dosage and time intervals. Unlike units currently on the market, Hugo’s design connects to any mobile phone globally. In explaining how it works, he said: ‘There are three layers in the portable pillbox. The lowest level is a controller with various devices which can be connected to mobile phones in remote locations. Patients are alerted by a sound alarm and flashes. Should they fail to follow their prescribed regime, data can be sent via SMS to relatives and friends for follow up.’ The pill-dispenser has four medicine slots, plus a back-up with a LED alert, topped by a 500ml water bottle. It took Hugo three months of research and coding to complete his design, but he feels it was worth all his time and effort.

Hugo’s public examination results were disappointing and he was at a loss about his future before enrolling at the OUHK, which he now realizes was a major turning point in his life. He is grateful for the OUHK’s learning environment, its industry links and the positive guidance and encouragement from his teachers. The University is now exploring the commercial potential of his design with a pharmaceutical company. He hopes that this will benefit the elderly and chronically ill, as well as the society at large.

Soon after completing his studies, Hugo joined an automation technology company as an assistant engineer. He is responsible for the design and development of automation devices. The target is to minimize human labor and increase the quality of products. He is developing products which are used in various sections, including healthcare, manufacturing and consumer electronics.
