Fitness Introductory Course

Fitness Introductory Course provides the basic knowledge of physical fitness training and the use of fitness equipment in the HKMU Gymnasium. HKMU Gymnasium provides a safe environment where students can exercise in pursuit of their personal health and fitness goals. Students will be eligible to register as a user of HKMU Gymnasium and/or Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) Fitness Rooms upon completion of the course.

Eligibility:

Students who have completed the FIC-theory

Registration period:

3-6 November 2023

Registration mothed:Email will be sent to qualified students

Remarks:

·         A separate confirmation email will be sent to successful registrants by 8 Nov 2023.

Important Notes

  • If participants arrive 15 minutes after the start time, they will not be allowed to attend class and their attendance will not be recorded.
  • One days’ notice must be given if a student is unable to attend a class. Failure to do so means he/she will be considered absent, which will affect the chance of getting a place in our future courses.
  • Students who enroll in more than one course will be disqualified.

Remarks:

  •  A separate confirmation email will be sent to successful registrants by 10 Oct 2023.
  • Limited quota on first-come-first-served basis, higher priority will be given for NON-LOCAL students.

  • The medium of instruction is English.
  • If participants arrive 15 minutes after the start time, they will not be allowed to attend class and their attendance will not be recorded.

  • Students who enroll in more than one course will be disqualified.
  • Students can proceed to register for the practical session only after they attend the theory session within the validity period.
