「現代綜合針灸學專業證書」為期約10個月，以兼讀制及實務為本設計，專為有意在臨床實務中安全有效應用現代針灸的註冊物理治療師而設。本課程結合理論與實證，以現代針灸學為核心， 重點講授神經生理學，痛症科學及當代生物科學證據，讓學生從現代臨床科學角度理解針灸的作用機制，臨床思維及循證應用。課程也輔以傳統中醫學中之經絡學説精要介紹，以擴闊學生對傳統針灸概念的基本理解。 課程透過系統化講授、技巧訓練工作坊、個案導向學習，以及在中國內地醫院進行的一週臨床實習，讓學員全面體驗現代針灸的臨床應用，包括乾針治療、電針及耳穴針灸等。課程同時強調法律與專業守則、安全及風險管理，協助物理治療師在不同臨床環境中安全、合規地運用針灸治療。
本課程旨在為已註冊物理治療師提供所需的知識、技術及臨床推理能力等，讓他們能在不同患者群體中，安全而有效地應用現代針灸技術。
成功修讀本課程後，學生將能夠：

課程評核由三個持續評估項目組成：筆試、臨床技術考核以及小組報告。學生必須在每個評估項目中取得至少 50% 的成績，方可獲得本課程的「合格」等級。
學生如符合出席要求（講課及實習課堂出席率達 80%，以及臨床實習出席率達 100%），並成功通過所有評核，將獲香港都會大學護理及健康學院頒發的「現代綜合針灸學專業結業證書」。
