HKMU School of Education and Languages co-organises conference to shape the future of mathematics education

The Hong Kong Mathematics Education Conference 2025 (HKMEC 2025), co-organised by the School of Education and Languages (the School) of Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) and the Hong Kong Association for Mathematics Education (HKAME), was successfully held on 13 June at the HKMU Jockey Club Campus. HKMU's JUPAS Band A applications surge by 21%, reflecting its growing popularity and recognition driven by professional and practical programmes

The final modification period for the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) concluded last Saturday (19 July). Following the release of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) results, applications for Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) programmes listed as the top three choices (Band A) have increased for the fourth consecutive year, reaching nearly 18,000, a significant 21% rise compared to that of last year. The number of both applicants and applications for HKMU programmes surged by 10%, reflecting the University's growing recognition and popularity among students and educators....

HKMU Angel Fund incubates first batch of five startups with up to HK$1 million each; driving innovation, technology and sustainability

Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) allocated HK$50 million last year to launch the HKMU Startup Fund, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship among students, faculty and alumni.
