HKMU and AMS Join Hands to Nurture Medical Ambassadors to promote medical and public health in the community

HKMU School of Education and Languages hosts Symposium on Language Development in Chinese-speaking Populations with Special Needs

The Research Institute for Bilingual Learning and Teaching (RIBiLT), under the School of Education and Languages (E&L) at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU), successfully hosted the Symposium on Language Development in Chinese-speaking Populations with Special Needs on 1-2 August. The aim of the symposium was to advance scholarly understanding, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and promote effective interventions to support the language development of Chinese-speaking individuals with special needs. HKMU Vice President encourages Ethics College second batch of graduates to contribute to society with knowledge and skills

The Ethics College, established by the Correctional Services Department (CSD), offers a one-year full-time Diploma in Applied Education programme (DAE) for adult persons in custody (PICs) through the Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education (LiPACE) of Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU). Successful public lecture: “Destined by Letters: The Preservation and Legacy of Eileen Chang, Stephen Soong and Mae Fong Soong's Manuscripts and Relics”

Jointly organised by the Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) Library, the School of Arts and Social Sciences (A&SS) and the Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture (TKPCCC), and co-organised by the Hong Kong Library Association (HKLA) and the Hong Kong Archives Society (HKAS), the public lecture titled “Destined by Letters: The Preservation and Legacy of Eileen Chang, Stephen Soong and Mae Fong Soong's Manuscripts and Relics” was successfully held on 28 June. A selection of precious manuscripts and personal items from the three literary figures were exhibited at the event, which attracted approximately 100 attendees. The talk was part of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's “Cultural July” programme....
