Chinese Literature student's work gets published in Hong Kong Literary

Founded in January 1985 by the renowned writer Liu Yichang, Hong Kong Literary is a prestigious literary magazine in Hong Kong. It is an important platform for Hong Kong writers to promote literature in Hong Kong. Student ZHANG Yuan of the Master of Arts in Chinese Literature programme wrote a short story titled "開往霧都的火車", which pictures two journeys in between the real and the surreal, and explores the theme of "searching". With his outstanding writing skills, the short story got published in Hong Kong Literary....

Animation and Visual Effects graduates win second award

Hereafter, an animation produced by graduates LUI Wai-hang and WONG Wun-ki from the Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Animation and Visual Effects programme, has again won the Hong Kong Merit Award at the 22nd DigiCon6 ASIA Awards. Creative writing graduate's final year project gets published in Hong Kong Literary

Supervised by Dr Rebecca Leung Mo-ling of the School of Arts and Social Science, graduate TAM Ka-wai from the Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Creative Writing and Film Arts programme composed a fiction titled “三國狂想曲—黃月英攻略傳:後設×穿越”, as his final year project. It is a metafiction about reflections on time-travel. With Ka-wai's outstanding writing skills, the piece is published in Hong Kong Literary, one of the prestigious literary magazines in Hong Kong....

Animation and Visual Effects graduates win international award

Graduates LUI Wai-hang and WONG Wun-ki from the Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Animation and Visual Effects programme participated in the Taiwan International Student Design Competition earlier. The theme of the competition was 'Action', which associated with the Sustainable Development Goals advocated by the United Nations. It is hoped that concepts such as respect between people, and between people and the environment, as well as the introspection and listening to justice, fairness and empathy can all be demonstrated in the designs....

Creative Arts graduate receives the accolade of City Literary Awards

A Master's student in creative writing receives award in Literature Writing Competition

Student LYU Zhaojun of the Master of Arts in Creative Writing programme participated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area College Literature Writing Competition 2020 earlier. After serval rounds of assessments, Zhaojun's literary work Winter in Hong Kong, which was based on the theme of 'Experiencing Lingnan', was selected out of 35 shortlisted entries from different higher education institutes, and awarded a second prize in the competition....
