In light of the tragic fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, the University has implemented the following arrangements to assist affected students and staff:

  • Students and staff residing at Wang Fuk Court: You may contact the Student Affairs Office or the Human Resources Office immediately for appropriate assistance from the University.
  • Emotional support: If you are experiencing emotional distress due to the incident, the University's counsellors are available to provide psychological support.
  • Flexible arrangements: Students and staff residing in Tai Po are advised to stay alert to the latest traffic news. Flexible arrangements for classes and work are available for today and tomorrow. Students may contact the related teaching staff or Registry, while staff can discuss suitable arrangements with their department heads.
