Programme Description

This programme provides in-depth coverage of the principles and applications of effective logistics and the supply chain management. Our students are introduced to supply chain management, operations management, services marketing, and logistics. Expertise in this field has become particularly valued in recent years as businesses operating in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta seek to gain competitive advantage.

Programme Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)

  1. Explain and critically review business theories and concepts to identify issues, analyse situations, and develop solutions for multi-faceted problems in organisational settings.
  2. Critically evaluate issues and make informed judgements in view of the organisation's strategies as well as ethical considerations.
  3. Make meaningful contributions as a leader and member in a team setting and communicate effectively.
  4. Command knowledge of the practices and activities of key aspects of logistics and supply chain management.
  5. Integrate and apply advanced analytical skills to address issues and make business decisions related to logistics and supply chain management.

Choosing the first courses to get started

Undergraduate students taking the BBA programmes in English are recommended to begin their BBA studies with one of the School’s introductory courses such as BUS B103 English and Communications for Business I, BIS B123 Business Computing Applications.

They are then free to complete a general degree, or to specialize in a range of business disciplines.
