International conference on Confucian classics

The School of Arts and Social Sciences organised the First International Academic Conference on Traditions and New Developments in Confucian Classics, a specialised event held in online format that connected scholars from around the world working on the legacy of Confucianism.

Annual Academia-Industry Exchange

HKMU's Institute of International Business and Governance (IIBG) organised the Annual AcademiaIndustry Exchange event, in the form of a Symposium titled “Putting Purpose at the Centre of Business: Challenges, Opportunities and the Road Ahead”. It was an occasion for discussing the new ideas and technologies that are enhancing businesses' ESG performances.

Physiotherapy Centre opens

The new HKMU Physiotherapy Centre was officially opened this month. The new centre is providing professional physiotherapy treatment for members of the HKMU community and the general public, as well as clinical learning opportunities for physiotherapy students.

Honorary Doctorates conferred

Five Honorary Doctorates were conferred by the University at a special ceremony. The recipients were former Chairman of the Construction Industry Council (CIC) Mr Chan Ka-kui; entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr Charles Chen Yidan; founder of Regal Fortune Limited and HKMU benefactor Ms Katie Shu Sui-pui; noted Chinese historian Prof. Joseph Ting Sun-pao; and distinguished certified public accountant Mr Peter Wan Kam-to.
