目標

本科要求學員就香港文化遺產設計並籌辦文化導賞團,旨在將理論性的遺產知識轉化,為專業導覽及文化遺產詮釋所需的高階專業技能。本科並非將文化遺產視作靜態的學術研究對象,而是將學員定位為文化中介者,負責將複雜的歷史、建築及民族誌資料轉化為生動、易於理解且符合倫理原則的現場敍事。透過貫穿兩個學期的嚴謹實地考察活動,學員將由課堂上的被動接受者,蛻變為主動策劃者,承擔香港複雜城市環境中特定地點的故事敍述與即時應變工作。本科的最終目標在於培育具備表達權威、精準統籌能力及靈活應變思維的實踐者,能夠帶領不同背景的受眾深入體驗這座城市層次豐富的活態歷史。

This course requires students to design and arrange a cultural tour about Hong Kong heritage. It is designed to transform theoretical heritage knowledge into the specialised, high-level professional skills required for expert tour leading and heritage interpretation. Rather than treating heritage as a static subject of study, this course positions the student as a cultural mediator who translates complex historical, architectural and ethnographic data into engaging, accessible and ethically responsible live narratives. Through a rigorous two-semester-long field exercise, students transform from a passive receiver in the classroom to an active curator responsible for the site-specific storytelling and real-time problem-solving in Hong Kong's challenging urban environment. The ultimate goal is to nurture practitioners who possess the vocal authority, logistical precision and intellectual agility to lead diverse audiences through the layered living history of the city.
