企業運算深造證書及多媒體與互聯網科技深造證書及互聯網科技及應用深造文憑及資訊科技與互聯網應用理學碩士課程規例


1. 一般規例

1.1

本規例乃根據《深造學位頒授規例》第一至四段和《深造文憑及證書頒授規例》第一至四段制定

1.2

《深造學位頒授規例》及《深造文憑及證書頒授規例》及《教務規例》內辭彙釋義所採用的定義同時適用於本規例。

1.3

《轉換深造學術資格規例》適用於企業運算深造證書多媒體與互聯網科技深造證書互聯網科技及應用深造文憑轉換至資訊科技與互聯網應用理學碩士

 

2. 入學條件

2.1

攻讀多媒體與互聯網科技深造證書或互聯網科技及應用深造文憑或資訊科技與互聯網應用理學碩士課程者,一般須符合下列要求:

 

2.1.1

持有認可的電腦學或相關領域的學士學位 (參照表一註1),或等同的學歷;或

 

2.1.2

持有認可的數學、科學或工程學的學士學位並副修電腦學或相關領域(參照表一註1),或等同的學歷;

 

2.1.3

持有認可的數學、科學或工程學的學士學位,並具備一年與資訊科技有關的工作經驗;或

 

2.1.4

持有任何的學士學位,並具備至少五年與資訊科技有關的督導工作經驗;或

 

2.1.5

持有等同本大學頒授的資訊科技深造證書的資格。

 
3. 多媒體與互聯網科技深造證書 (見註4)

3.1

學生必須符合下列規定,方可獲考慮頒授多媒體與互聯網科技深造證書

 

3.1.1

符合《入學、註冊及學籍規例》所載的規定;及

 

3.1.2

符合《深造文憑及證書頒授規例》所載的規定;及

 

3.1.3

按有關深造證書課程規例修畢指定的深造程度科目,取得至少20學分。

 

3.2

按大學規定,修讀多媒體與互聯網科技深造證書課程,學生必須:

 

3.2.1

修畢表一CM類別的必修科目,取得10學分;及

 

3.2.2

選修表一IE類別的科目,取得10學分。

 
4. 互聯網科技及應用深造文憑 (見註4)

4.1

學生必須符合下列規定,方可獲考慮頒授互聯網科技及應用深造文憑

 

4.1.1

符合《入學、註冊及學籍規例》所載的規定;及

 

4.1.2

符合《深造文憑及證書頒授規例》所載的規定;及

 

4.1.3

按有關深造文憑課程規例修畢指定的深造程度科目,取得至少40學分。

 

4.2

按大學規定,修讀互聯網科技及應用深造文憑課程,學生必須:

 

4.2.1

修畢表一PD類別的必修科目,取得40學分。

 

5.

資訊科技與互聯網應用理學碩士課程 (見註4)

5.1

學生必須符合下列規定,方可獲考慮頒授資訊科技與互聯網應用理學碩士學位:

 

5.1.1

符合《入學、註冊及學籍規例》所載的規定;及

 

5.1.2

符合《深造學位頒授規例》所載的規定;及

 

5.1.3

按有關碩士課程規例修畢指定的深造程度科目,取得至少60學分。

5.2

按大學規定,修讀資訊科技與互聯網應用理學碩士課程,學生必須選修表一所列的科目,取得60學分;其中至少20學分須選自IA或PJ類別的科目 。

  1. 電腦學或相關領域包括:電腦科學、電腦學、電機工程學、電子工程學、電子學、資訊工程學、資訊科學、資訊科技、資訊系統 (或商業資訊系統)、系統工程學等。

  2. 選修 COMP S890 的學生,必須先修畢表一IA類別的科目,取得30學分。

  3. 此等科目現已停辦。
     
  4. 多媒體與互聯網科技深造證書互聯網科技及應用深造文憑資訊科技與互聯網應用理學碩士課程已於二○一八年秋季學期停辦。上述課程的最後頒授期為二○二三年秋季學期。

Hugo Leung Wai-yin, who graduated from his four-year programme in 2015, won the Best Paper Award for his ‘intelligent pill-dispenser’ design at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering’s International Conference on Consumer Electronics – China 2015.

The pill-dispenser alerts patients via sound and LED flashes to pre-set dosage and time intervals. Unlike units currently on the market, Hugo’s design connects to any mobile phone globally. In explaining how it works, he said: ‘There are three layers in the portable pillbox. The lowest level is a controller with various devices which can be connected to mobile phones in remote locations. Patients are alerted by a sound alarm and flashes. Should they fail to follow their prescribed regime, data can be sent via SMS to relatives and friends for follow up.’ The pill-dispenser has four medicine slots, plus a back-up with a LED alert, topped by a 500ml water bottle. It took Hugo three months of research and coding to complete his design, but he feels it was worth all his time and effort.

Hugo’s public examination results were disappointing and he was at a loss about his future before enrolling at the OUHK, which he now realizes was a major turning point in his life. He is grateful for the OUHK’s learning environment, its industry links and the positive guidance and encouragement from his teachers. The University is now exploring the commercial potential of his design with a pharmaceutical company. He hopes that this will benefit the elderly and chronically ill, as well as the society at large.

Soon after completing his studies, Hugo joined an automation technology company as an assistant engineer. He is responsible for the design and development of automation devices. The target is to minimize human labor and increase the quality of products. He is developing products which are used in various sections, including healthcare, manufacturing and consumer electronics.
