The Psychology and Behavioural Science (PBS) Laboratory is located at B0518 in our Main Campus. We welcomed the opening of our lab on 6 October, 2022. Our lab is equipped with different facilities serving a wide range of research and teaching and learning purposes.

Virtual Reality (VR) and Computer Laboratory

The Virtual Reality (VR) and Computer Laboratory is equipped with seven computers and touchscreen monitors to allow the conduction of different types of psychology and social sciences research. In addition, the room is equipped with advanced VR equipment to support VR research. To accommodate its versatile design, the laboratory is also installed with a one-way mirror to serve as an observation room for observing activities conducted in the adjacent group interview room.

Group Interview Room

The Group Interview Room provides a cozy space for conducting group interviews, focus group studies, and meetings.

Neuroscience and Eye-tracking Laboratory

The Neuroscience and Eye-tracking Laboratory is equipped with advanced equipment for neuroscience and cognitive psychology research. We have a 64-channel EEG system, a Tobii Pro Spectrum eyetracker, an EyeLink Portable Duo eyetracker, and a biofeedback measurements system.

Counselling Room

The Counselling Room is a comfortable private space specifically designed for teaching and learning different counselling skills. This room is installed with a one-way mirror, where instructors and students can watch the demonstrations in the observation room next door.

Consultation Room

The Consultation Room provides a multi-purpose environment for  conducting individual interviews, and consultations for teaching  and research.
