  • Local or non-local female students
  • Full-time research postgraduates or taught postgraduates
  • CGPA of not less than 3.0 and/or outstanding research progress and achievements
  • Full Member of HKAUW
  • Outstanding academic achievements, personal aspirations and qualities
  • Demonstrate leadership and active involvement in community service
  • Have contributions in their chosen disciplines, including a global outlook and the promotion of women's status

School of Science and Technology (S&T)

By Application

Eligibility
  • Local students
  • Full-time PhD students in Year 2 or above, studying in STEM-related programmes
  • Aged between 18 and 35
  • CGPA of not less than 3.0
  • Must have achieved at least a passing grade for the thesis monitoring or the equivalent course in the previous academic year
  • Demonstrate excellent performance in academic studies
  • Research area should potentially have a positive impact on the development of society (details should be provided)
  • Participation in social services
  • Have a strong commitment to Hong Kong and to actively participate in the innovation and technology industry

Number of AwardA total of 10 students from 7 Hong Kong educational institutions, no fixed quota for each institution

  • Applicants should read the Information Notes (for 2025/26) before completing the application.

Remarks
  • Selection interview in December. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via HKMU email with interview details. Shortlisted candidates are required to attend an external interview
  • Awardees will automatically become members of the 'For Our Future' Alumni Club (the Alumni Club) and must join the Foundation's YO PLACE as members
  • Awardees are required to attend at least one activity arranged by the Alumni Club each year until the remaining scholarships have been distributed
  • Awardees will be invited to attend the presentation ceremony organised by the donor in April
