Agricultural Products / Marine Fish Scholarship Fund (Scholarship / Grant) aims to offer financial assistance for the education and training of people employed in or wish to enter the agriculture and marine fisheries industries or agricultural and fishery products marketing industries in Hong Kong, and their families and dependants.

CareER Scholarship Program 2025 is set up to give recognition to students with disabilities or special educational needs (SEN) in the pursuit of excellence in participating in community services and commitment to the community, achievement in extracurricular activities and their willingness to challenge themselves to experience new exposures. Hence, their academic achievements are not the main focus of the selection criteria for the scholarship award. Meanwhile, with the aim of enhancing the awardee's development in their careers, the selected awardees will have the opportunity to work as interns or job-shadow at the Kerry Group during the summer in 2025.

 

Awards

For the post-secondary group, there will be eight awards and each successful candidate will receive a grant of HK$15,000.

Hong Kong Construction Association Lo Pan Scholarship aims at recognizing those students with outstanding academic results, community service, leadership, integrity and with a view to enhancing commitments in joining the construction industry after graduation. Lee Hysan Foundation Ethnic Minority Student Postgraduate Scholarship aims to award ethnic minority students with conversational Cantonese proficiency in any year of a full-time/part-time postgraduate degree programme in key public service fields (nursing, medicine, education, STEM, healthcare, rehabilitation, social work/counselling, or similar fields) in Hong Kong. MTR “Ride to Success” Scholarship Programme aims to recognise and reward local students with commendable academic performance, a passion for community service, and a keen interest in the railway sector. It offers 25 scholarships for undergraduate students from tertiary institutions in Hong Kong to compete. The scholarship will cover up to the full tuition fee of the eligible undergraduate programmes, capped at the amount of the annual tuition fee of UGC-funded degree programmes*.  The Scholarship is renewable for a maximum of 4 years under certain requirements.

 

*The annual tuition fees for UGC-funded degree programmes from 2024-25 to 2027-28 are HK$42,100, HK$44,500, HK$47,000 and HK$49,500 respectively. These tuition fee amounts are for reference only and may subject to change.

 

Eligibilities

  • Local undergraduate students pursuing the first bachelor's degree related to engineering, transport and logistics in the 2024/25 Academic Year, in the first-year of study (i.e. both Year 1 students and students from senior-year entrance are eligible)
  • CGPA at 3.0 or above
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in railway-related initiatives
  • Actively participate in community service or charitable work
  • Under the Programme, applicants are not allowed to concurrently hold other admission scholarships or academic scholarships, subsidies, sponsorship or any other financial support for the tuition fee of the undergraduate programme from the Corporation or any other local or overseas organisations (including but not limited to institutions, companies, and NGOs) during the academic years 2024/25, 2025/26, 2026/27, and 2027/28. Applicants shall immediately report to the Corporation and HKCSS if they receive any of those scholarships, subsidies, sponsorship and/or other financial support during the academic years. Notwithstanding, applicants may still apply for means-tested and non-means-tested grants and loans, bursaries, or non-academic scholarships to cover their living expenses and exchange programmes.

The Outstanding Service Award for Tertiary Students aims to recognize tertiary students with outstanding leadership and significant contribution to the community. All students enrolled in tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and pursuing a full-time bachelor's degree are eligible for the award, except previous awardees and incoming exchange students.
