大學校長林群聲教授及本院院長曾德源博士帶領一衆同事前往深圳，參加深圳信息職業技術學院(深信院) 第21屆畢業典禮，並見證了首屆深港聯合培養班學生順利畢業的重要時刻。
到訪期間，林群聲校長及曾德源院長受到了深信院王暉校長、苗寧禮書記、陳志鋒副書記等的熱情接待，兩校領導對聯合培養班的成功給予了肯定，並在拓展其他領域的合作方面進行了充分的交流。
深信院國際交流及合作學院院長張運生陪同代表團參觀了學校的教學設施，介紹了產教融合深度發展的情況。
首屆深港聯合培養班有14名同學在三年内順利完成深港兩地的學業，並同時獲深信院頒發專科畢業證書及本院頒發的高級文憑畢業證書。
A delegation led by Professor Paul LAM Kwan-sing (President, HKMU) and Dr. Benjamin Chan (Dean, LiPACE) paid a courtesy visit to Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology (SZIIT) and was warmly received by Prof. Wang Hui (President, SZIIT), Miao Ningli (Party Secretary, SZIIT), Chen Zhifeng (Deputy Party Secretary, SZIIT). Both parties affirmed the success of the collaborative programme and discussed further collaboration in other new areas.
Dr. Zhang Yunsheng (Dean, International Office, and Director, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office) accompanied the delegation on a campus tour of the SZIIT’s teaching facilities and introduced the extensive development of university-industry integration.
14 students of the first cohort of the collaborative programme successfully completed their studies in both Shenzhen and Hong Kong within three years, and received a diploma of higher education (specialty) certificate from SZIIT and a higher diploma certificate from LiPACE.
