Student's Description:

This creative text expressed the growth of my inner strength during the first semester. The healing process went from refusing to make friends to rebuilding connections by releasing past experiences and self-acceptance after receiving care and support from a professor. During the second semester, I repay the kindness forward by being true and kind.

The first week in HKMU was stressful. I sat alone in the front row to focus, but I hate being seen.

Because I really want to elude the distractions.

The lights above displayed my appearance and manner like a drama protagonist.

Do you know who she is?

A cool, mixed, mysterious girl?

Really?

Another light above allowed the deuteragonist to see through me as we sat down and faced each other.

The chair was soft as it was secured with two pillows that embraced me and my shadow carefully. My blood, my dreams, my fears were all being seen.

You are kind.

You are loved.

You are you.

Soon, I was off stage.

I let the lights shine through my beautiful soul.

Do you know who she is?

A warm, true, compassionate girl who was scared of being seen and being hurt again, but she decided to heal and share the kindness she received from someone.

That's marvellous!

Another first week in HKMU was soothing. We sat together in the front row to focus, but I hate being seen.

Because I really want to follow my professor's words.
