Student's Description:

This flash fiction explores themes of self-doubt, thankfulness, and personal reflection. It is a personal story that depicts the feeling of pressure and overwhelmingness from waning to perfect every tasks, which sometimes become too stressful to handle. MU's constant support (like giving out all-rounded opportunities) and motto “Me&U beyond limits” also helped Rory remember her story. Although she still finds herself juggling between tasks a lot, her small remembrance of her story reflects her growth of someone who is a hardcore perfectionist to someone who tries to appreciate the little things.

Taking a deep breath, Rory crosses “Group Presentation Prep” from her schedule. It was already 12:14am and she has class at 9am the next day. (Well…today.)

“Maybe I should start making a study plan. Or start Assignment 2 of my Business course. Or Assignment 1 for my English Enhancement course. Oh! I forgot about the mini-test for tomorrow's marketing lecture. Its okay… I'll look through it in the bus. AH! And my artwork for my club. And the…”

Breathe…

All this stress was a dream at one point. And that dream? She is living in it. That stress? A testament that she will fight for that dream.

Everywhere she looked, there was always a message: This is not the end & The sky's the limit.

Even in the midst of worry and trepidation, she is learning to remember her starting point and the concept of boundless possibilities, thanks to HKMU.

It was a matter of perspective. Daunting tasks? No. Opportunities.

“But in order to see these opportunities, the first step is to dream beyond limits. Only then, can you work hard for it. Thank you so much, HKMU.” she exclaims.
