本课程旨在传授学生关于中国环保的知识及技能,培养学生对中国环保客观的、批判性的认知,使学生能够从社会、业界及经济的角度出发评价中国环保政策。

教学

学生将通过全日制或兼读制面授方式进行学习,并可在网络平台获取教学资源和支持。本课程所有科目都设有常规的面授课及导修课。面授课旨在为学生提供与导师讨论学术问题的机会并从中学习实用技能。同时,对于本课程所有科目,在香港都会大学网上学习环境(OLE)支持下,老师与学生也可进行在线互动,讨论课程中所涉及的原理及其应用。

问题11: 持有大专学历或资历架构第4级认可的专上教育学历,但环境、环保相关工作经验不足十年可以申请吗?

答: 如环境、环保的相关工作经验不足十年即是不符合基本入学要求。

问题11: 学生签证审批

答: 学生签证需要大约6至8星期才能审批。由于现时处于申请高峰期,香港入境事务处需要更多时间处理。当收到香港入境事务处的批准及签证标签后,我们会将签证标签发送至你的申请电邮地址。

问题12:毕业学历认证

答: 毕业后可获硕士学位,内地教育部留学服务中心可认证。
*注:香港学术及职业资历评审局已通过中国环保研究理学硕士课程的资历名册登记,并获资历架构第6级认可。课程的资历名册登记号码为21/000913/L6。

Hugo Leung Wai-yin, who graduated from his four-year programme in 2015, won the Best Paper Award for his ‘intelligent pill-dispenser’ design at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering’s International Conference on Consumer Electronics – China 2015.

The pill-dispenser alerts patients via sound and LED flashes to pre-set dosage and time intervals. Unlike units currently on the market, Hugo’s design connects to any mobile phone globally. In explaining how it works, he said: ‘There are three layers in the portable pillbox. The lowest level is a controller with various devices which can be connected to mobile phones in remote locations. Patients are alerted by a sound alarm and flashes. Should they fail to follow their prescribed regime, data can be sent via SMS to relatives and friends for follow up.’ The pill-dispenser has four medicine slots, plus a back-up with a LED alert, topped by a 500ml water bottle. It took Hugo three months of research and coding to complete his design, but he feels it was worth all his time and effort.

Hugo’s public examination results were disappointing and he was at a loss about his future before enrolling at the OUHK, which he now realizes was a major turning point in his life. He is grateful for the OUHK’s learning environment, its industry links and the positive guidance and encouragement from his teachers. The University is now exploring the commercial potential of his design with a pharmaceutical company. He hopes that this will benefit the elderly and chronically ill, as well as the society at large.

Soon after completing his studies, Hugo joined an automation technology company as an assistant engineer. He is responsible for the design and development of automation devices. The target is to minimize human labor and increase the quality of products. He is developing products which are used in various sections, including healthcare, manufacturing and consumer electronics.
