FIFA World Cup 2026

Introduction

The FIFA World Cup 2026 is the biggest tournament in football history. Co-hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States, it runs from 12 June to 20 July 2026, Hong Kong time. For the first time, the expanded format will feature 48 teams from around the world competing for the title. The opening match was Mexico versus South Africa on 12 June (HKT).
