Swire Properties Placemaking Academy 2026

The Swire Properties Placemaking Academy (SPPA) is recruiting its 2026 cohort – a paid 6‑month apprenticeship where you'll help create the White Christmas Street Fair 2026.

You'll pitch your concept to Swire Properties. The winning team and selected individual(s) will join SPPA as apprentices, working with professionals to bring your ideas to life and make real impact in the Taikoo and Hong Kong community.

During the apprenticeship, the SPPA provides training and mentorship in Placemaking, Innovation and Sustainable Development, through ideation, mentoring and on-the-job training given by the Company's senior management and the SPPA's guest lecturers.

Key Dates:

• 2 March – 22 May, 2026: Application Period (Apply now)

• 16 April, 2026: Briefing Session (Register by 13 April)

• 20 April – 15 May, 2026: Consultation

• 22 May, 2026 (by 5pm): Proposal Submission Deadline

• 1 – 5 June, 2026: Workshop for Shortlisted Teams*

• 8 June, 2026: Judging Session

• 22 June – 28 August, 2026: Full-time Apprenticeship

• 7 September – 31 December, 2026: Full-time / Part-time Apprenticeship

*Selected teams are highly recommended to attend the training workshop before the final presentation

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, applicants should be:

• A full-time undergraduate student at a Hong Kong university (For students taking up exclusively UGC-funded or publicly-funded full-time programmes.)

• 18 years old or above with a Hong Kong identity card or prior permission obtained from the Immigration Department

• A strong team player and a good lateral thinker

• Mature and active in extra-curricular activities

• Good communication and presentation skills (spoken and written) in both English and Chinese

• Demonstrate understanding, knowledge, capabilities and relevant experience
