2025 BOCHK Grassroots Football Planner Programme⚽

The Football Association of Hong Kong, China Limited is going to host the “Bank of China Grassroots Football Planner Programme” in May 2025, details are as follows:

 

Target Group:

Tertiary Students (Male and Female are welcome)

Service Group:

Organize grassroots football activity and games for children under 8 years old

Content:

Course contents include grassroots philosophy, organizing fun and safe football activities. Upon completion, students will have basic knowledge of junior football development. It is also a preparation course for the HKFA “D” Coaching Certificate Course.

Dates:

27, 28 and 29 May 2025

Venue:

Lingnan University

Assessment:

No accreditation. The certificate will be issued for participants after attending all classes and finishing the assignments.

Coaching Practice:

Participants must provide 12-hours grassroots practice internship within 12 months after the course ended. After applying for coach registration, participants can apply for “HKFA D Coaching Certificate Course”.

Fee:

HKD 400

Registration:

Complete the online form [link] and submit a self-statement of no less than 200 words (purpose and expectations for joining this programme, contribution to HKMU etc.)

Remark:

The Sports and PE Team (SAO) will notify the selected students via email on [29 April 2025 (Tuesday)].

Important notes

  • A separate confirmation email will be sent to successful registrants on or before 29 April 2025.
  • Selected students must complete the payment by [5 May 2025 (Monday)] or earlier, otherwise it will be considered as giving up the registration qualification. Seats will be released to students on waiting list.
  • All paid fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Participants must provide 12-hours grassroots practice internship within 12 months after the course ended. After applying for coach registration, participants can apply for “HKFA D Coaching Certificate Course”
  • If the number of applicants exceeds the quota limit, places will be allocated in accordance with their sports experiences or contributions to the University.
  • Participants who are late for more than 15 minutes will not be allowed to attend the course.
  • Should any dispute arise, the decision of the Student Affairs Office shall be final.
