1 All loaned items are subject to recall.
2 All loan items, except those in the Reserve Collection, can be renewed anytime until the maximum loan period is reached if they have not been requested by other patrons. Colleagues can contact Library at libwww@hkmu.edu.hk for any renewal issues.
3 Initial loan period for term loan of CC textbook is 120 days.
4 Loan period may vary with the nature or playing time of the item.

 

Campus Libraries Access
►With a valid staff card, you can use the facilities and spaces for different needs of the two campus libraries.

Book Loan Service for HKMU Staff in LiPACE and NEO offices
►The Book Loan Service for HKMU Staff in LiPACE and NEO offices allows HKMU staff who are stationing in LiPACE and NEO offices to request library items from the General Collection and arrange the delivery via the Facilities Management Office (FMO) .

Remote Access
►You can access library-subscribed e-resources outside campus libraries by logging into your Library Account.

Interlibrary Loan Service
►Full-time academic and administrative equivalent staff can request books or journal articles not held by the HKMU Library through our Interlibrary Loan Service.


Teaching and Research Support

Active Learning Space Booking
►The Active Learning Space in the Stanley Ho Library is available for reservation by HKMU staff for classes or other teaching functions.

Collaboration or Customized Training Programme
►You can request for collaboration or customized training programme by contact us at 27686777 or email us at libwww@hkmu.edu.hk. Requests should be sent to the Library at least two weeks before the proposed date of the training programme.

Library Guides and Online Tutorials
►You can access to our library guides and online tutorials to get some hints for searching library resources and using the library services.

Library Workshops & Seminars
►You can join our library orientations or other training workshops/seminars in order to use the Library and its resources effectively.

Placing Materials in Reserve Collection
►Course coordinators can put reference readings in the Library Reserve Collection.

Research Consultation Service
►You can make a one-on-one or small group appointment with our reference librarian for a consultation session for your research needs.


Online Services

Online Renewal and Making Hold Request
►You can renew loaned items and make hold request for General Collection items online by logging into your Library Account.

LibSearch
►You can retrieve more materials from library-subscribed e-resources or save your search results or queries in LibSearch by logging into your Library Account.

Online Book Recommendation
►You can send your book recommendation to the Library online.
