In each session, we will:
• have guided tour of Stanley Ho Library (Main Campus) and Ho Sik Yee Library (Jockey Club Campus)
• introduce Library’s services and facilities
• show you how to use the popular facilities (photocopiers, printers, self-checkout machines, interactive whiteboards, etc.)
• let you try these facilities out yourself!
~~Participants who had registered for the library workshop “Essentials for Your U-life: Getting started with the Library ” do not need to register for this tour separately.~~
New to the Library? Welcome here! We have arranged a series of orientation workshops to help you to have a better understanding of the Library services, facilities, collections as well as searching Library resources, come and join us! Let’s start your first lesson in your U-life!
In each session, we will cover:
• Introduction to the campus libraries, Library’s facilities and services;
• How to search library resources via LibSearch;
• How to use the E-Library as starting point for finding materials for your assignments;
• How to find journal articles for a topic;
• Hands-on practice on finding library materials in LibSearch, e.g. past exam papers.
