This pathway is not applicable to graduates of Associate of Business of the University. They should refer to the regular undergraduate programmes offered by the University.

Programme Description

The programme allows students to develop an interdisciplinary perspective on the management of business organizations and build specialized knowledge and skills in leadership and change management. It will also equip students with skills in using and applying leadership practices and concepts in today’s workplace. Together with the transferable skills developed through the programme, students could build a successful career or start their own business in a wide range of business areas.

Programme Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)

  1. Explain and critically review business theories and concepts to identify issues, analyse situations, and develop solutions for multi-faceted problems in organisational settings.
  2. Critically evaluate issues and make informed judgements in view of the organisation’s strategies as well as ethical considerations.
  3. Reflect on new ways of thinking and make meaningful contributions as a leader and member in a team setting and communicate effectively.
  4. Command knowledge of the practices and activities of key aspects of leadership practice.
  5. Integrate and apply advanced analytical skills to address issues and make decisions related to leadership practice.
  6. Assimilate and synthesise new knowledge in different aspects of leadership practice, apply it to solve problems related to leadership practice, and develop practical recommendations.

Programme Requirement

Programme-specific entry requirement:

A recognized Associate Degree or Higher Diploma in a business-related area (or its equivalent).

Choosing the first courses to get started

Students taking the Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Leadership Practice programme through pathway 1 are recommended to begin their studies with one of the 3000-level courses such as BUS 3027BED Creating Futures: Sustainable Entreprise and Innovation or MGT B3008BED Developing Leadership.
