Programme Description

This programme equips students with the fundamental concepts and basic knowledge underlying the study to today's business and management. Graduates will also possess the practical skills necessary to serve as front-line or middle managers or supervisors in private and public enterprises.

Students who complete their studies at the Associate Degree level are well-prepared to continue on to study at the Bachelor's Degree level with all credit-units earned at the Associate Degree level applied to a related Bachelor's Degree under three-credit-unit system (except Bachelor of Sports Management with Honours).

Programme Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)

  1. Explain and critically review business theories and concepts to identify issues, analyse situations, and develop solutions for multi-faceted problems in organisational settings.
  2. Critically evaluate issues and make informed judgements in view of the organisation's strategies as well as ethical considerations.
  3. Reflect on new ways of thinking and make meaningful contributions as a leader and member in a team setting and communicate effectively.

Programme Requirement

Students pursuing this programme must successfully complete at least 60 credit-units, of which at least 30 credit-units shall be at least 2000-level and/or 3000-level. Students are required to complete:
