Introduction to Publications by the Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture
The Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture has been dedicated to promoting the development and dissemination of Chinese culture, fostering cultural exchange and academic research through its publications. The Centre regularly publishes the Newsletter of Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture, which primarily features commentary articles related to Chinese culture, with the aim of promoting and celebrating its essence. In addition, the Centre has released a series of academic works and cultural publications, including the Chinese monographs Chinese Creative Writing and Cross-Media Practices and The Traditions and The New Ways in Confucian Studies; the English monographs Chinese Creative Writing Studies and Chinese Creative Writing Studies: Theory, Pedagogy and Practice; as well as the illustrated book A Story of the Manner Cat. The Centre also publishes an annual report, which provides a detailed record of its yearly publication achievements, activities, and project outcomes.
Starting from the 2025–2026 academic year, the Centre will launch a new English academic journal, the Journal of Chinese Creative Writing Studies, as well as an English academic book series, Asian Voices: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Creative Writing. These publications cover a wide range of topics, aiming to provide a platform for scholarly exchange and collaboration while offering readers a wealth of resources on Chinese culture. Through these efforts, the Centre seeks to further advance the international development and academic influence of Chinese culture.
