Journal of Chinese Creative Writing Studies (Forthcoming)
The Journal of Chinese Creative Writing Studies is an annual English-language academic journal that represents the culmination of a collaborative effort involving the Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture (TKPCCC) at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, the Creative Writing Institute of China at Shanghai University, and the School of Humanities at Wenzhou University. Following the publication of Chinese Creative Writing Studies 中國創意寫作研究, this English journal aims to advance the teaching and research of Chinese creative writing on a global scale.
The journal publishes articles, interviews, and book reviews that explore various aspects of creative writing, including literature, culture, translation, and cross-media exploration. While we particularly emphasise showcasing Chinese contributions to the international academic community, our scope extends beyond Chinese creative writing. The journal also seeks to promote research in academic disciplines, innovative pedagogical approaches, fundamental theories, cross-media practices, literature interpretation, and interdisciplinary developments in both Sinophone and English contexts.
