Dr Shine Ho

Dr. Shine Ho obtained her Ph.D. in Psychology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research interests lie in forgiveness, couple relationships, emotion regulation, mental health and spirituality. She was also a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Currently, Dr. Ho serves as an adjunct professor at the China Graduate School of Theology. Prior to joining the Hong Kong Metropolitan University, she was an Assistant Professor at the City University of Hong Kong and at the Education University of Hong Kong.

As a practicing counseling psychologist, Dr. Ho aims to help individuals recognize their strengths and find resources to cope with everyday challenges. She provides positive psychology training to educators, counselors, social workers and parents, and conducts mental health seminars and workshops for schools and the public. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, an associate fellow of the Hong Kong Psychological Society, and the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association. Additionally, she is a registered social worker.
