The scope of research that aligns with one or more of the above sub-themes is highly encouraged. Other related areas are also welcome. The content of research paper presentations may include (but not limited to): Blended Learning, Artificial Intelligence in Education, Big Data/Academic Analytics, Use of Technology in Education, Engaging Students and Learning Design, Gamification for Learning, Innovations in Curriculum and Pedagogy, Knowledge and Competence Assessment, Microcredentials, Multimode Operations, Open Education/OERs/MOOCs, Pedagogical Innovations, Social Media and Technology-mediated Learning communities, Technology-enabled Student Advising, and VR/AR/MR in education

Papers submitted for presentation should normally be in English. The oral presentation must be done in easily comprehensible and fluent English. Papers must be presented by the authors themselves. No one will be allowed to present any paper on behalf of its author.

Papers may also be written in Chinese and presented in Putonghua. In such a case, an English version of the abstract should be submitted together with the Chinese version.

Quality is the most important requirement. All papers to be presented should have concrete contributions to fields relevant to the Conference themes. All submissions will be reviewed for relevance, originality, clarity, soundness, and significance by at least two reviewers.
