Ms. Fan Xianrui is the Vice President of the Open University of China (OUC). She graduated from Peking University with a master’s degree. Prior to her appointment as the Vice President of the OUC, she served in the Ministry of Education of China for many years. Her main research areas include digital education, international and comparative education, older adult education. She has published three books, and more than twenty articles, papers, and reports.

范贤睿女士,国家开放大学副校长。范女士毕业于北京大学,获得硕士学位。在被任命为国家开放大学副校长之前,曾在中国教育部工作多年。主要研究领域包括数字教育、国际与比较教育、老年教育。范女士已出版三本著作,并发表了二十余篇文章、论文和报告。

Prof Liu Wenqing, Doctor of Law, Researcher, and Doctoral/Master’s Supervisor. Prof Liu is President of Guangdong Open University and has led over 30 national and provincial-level projects and major research initiatives. She has received two second prizes for national educational and teaching achievements, one special prize, and three first prizes for provincial educational and teaching achievements. Prof Liu has published more than 50 monographs (textbooks) and over 60 papers.

刘文清,法学博士,二级研究员、博/硕士生导师。广东开放大学校长,主持国家级和省部级课题及重大科研项目30余项,获国家教育教学成果二等奖2项,省教育教学成果特等奖1项、一等奖3项,出版专著(教材)50多部(本),发表论文60余篇。

Dr. Byung-Ho LEE is Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Ajou University, South Korea. He earned a PhD in sociology from the University of Michigan and served as a Lecturer at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He conducts research in the fields of sinology, demography, and comparative-historical sociology, focusing on ethnicity, identity, social policy, and quality of life.

秉镐博士是韩国亚洲大学社会学系的副教授。他在密歇根大学获得社会学博士学位,并曾在香港科技大学担任讲师。他的研究领域包括汉学、人口学和比较历史社会学,主要关注民族、身份认同、社会政策和生活质量。

Prof. Li Jiacheng is the Executive Vice-President of and Professor at the Shanghai Municipal Institute for Lifelong Education at East China Normal University. Apart from taking the role as a doctoral supervisor, Prof. Li is an active researcher in different areas, including lifelong education, adult education, school reform, student and teacher development, and school-family-community cooperation. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee of Home-School Collaboration of Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy and the Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee of Class Teachers of the Chinese Society of Education.

上海终身教育研究院执行副院长、教授、华东师范大学职业教育与成人教育研究所博士生导师、华东师范大学“生命•实践”教育学研究院研究员、教育部人文社科重点研究基地华东师范大学基础教育改革与发展研究所研究员,中国教育发展战略学会家校协同专业委员会副理事长、中国教育学会班主任专业委员会副理事长。

Prof. Ben Fong, a Specialist in Community Medicine, is the Professor of Practice (Health Studies) and Associate Division Head of the Division of Science, Engineering and Health Studies (SEHS), the Programme Leader of the BSc (Hons) in Applied Sciences (Health Studies), and the Director of the Centre for Ageing and Healthcare Management Research at HK PolyU. He has honorary appointments in Family Medicine at both The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and The University of Hong Kong, as well as in the School of Chinese Medicine, the Hong Kong Institute of Integrative Medicine, and Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies at CUHK. He is also Adjunct Professor in Public Health & Tropical Medicine in the College of Public Health, Medical and Veterinary Sciences at James Cook University, Queensland, Australia, the President of Hong Kong College of Community Health Practitioners, and the Vice-Chair of the Clinical Governance Committee of the Jockey Club Home for Hospice. Dr Fong had his medical training at the University of Sydney, where he had also completed a Master's in Public Health. He had his clinical training in Sydney, and has held a senior management position at Prince Henry Hospital, a teaching hospital of the University of New South Wales. He has contributed to publications, including Gaps and Actions in Health Improvement from Hong Kong and Beyond: All for Health (2023), Disaster Management and Emergency Medicine in the Asia-Pacific Region: Current Practices and Future Directions (2023), Ageing with Dignity in Hong Kong and Asia – Holistic and Humanistic Care (2022), Routledge Handbook of Public Health and the Community (2021), Primary Care Revisited: Interdisciplinary Perspectives for a New Era (2020), a training manual for general practitioners in China published by the People's Medical Publishing House in Beijing, China (2020), over 30 health books in Chinese, and 70 journal papers.

玉辉教授是一位社会医学专科医生,现为科学、工程及健康学部实务教授(健康科)和学部副主任、健康及生命科学学科统筹、应用科学(荣誉)理学士(健康科)课程统筹,以及「老龄化和医疗管理研究中心」总监。他先后担任香港中文大学(中大)和香港大学家庭医学系,以及中大中医学院、香港中西医结合医学研究所和香港亚太研究所的荣誉教席。他也是澳大利亚昆士兰州詹姆斯库克大学公共卫生与热带医学学院的兼职教授、香港社区健康学院院长,以及赛马会善宁之家临床治理委员会副主席。

方教授在悉尼大学接受医学培训,并获得公共卫生硕士学位。他在悉尼完成了临床培训,并曾在新南威尔士大学教学医院亨利王子医院担任高级管理职位。他参与撰写超过30本中文健康书籍以及70篇期刊论文。

Empowering Lifelong Learning for Aging Societies in Thailand: Roles of Educational Institutions

Dr. Chaturaporn Sihabutr is a knowledgeable academic with a background in Tourism and Hospitality Management. She earned a Master's degree in Tourism & Hotel Management from Southern Cross University, Australia, and Naresuan University, Thailand. She furthered her studies in France, obtaining a Master of Research (Master 2) from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole, and subsequently completed a Ph.D. in Tourism Economics from Université de Toulouse Le Mirail in 2011. She is currently a lecturer in Tourism and Service Innovation at the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, Nong Khai Campus, Thailand.
With a deep understanding of tourism economics and management, Dr. Chaturaporn has dedicated her career to advancing the field through both academic research and practical applications. She is an expert in tourism innovation and has made significant contributions to the development of sustainable tourism practices.

Chaturaporn Sihabutr 博士是一位在旅游与酒店管理领域具有丰富知识的学者。她在澳大利亚南十字星大学和泰国那黎宣大学获得了旅游与酒店管理硕士学位。随后,她在法国继续深造,获得了图卢兹第一大学的研究硕士学位,并于2011年在图卢兹勒米莱大学完成了旅游经济学博士学位。她目前是泰国孔敬大学廊开校区跨学科研究学院的讲师。

凭借对旅游经济学和管理的深刻理解,Chaturaporn Sihabutr博士致力于通过学术研究和实际应用推动该领域的发展。她是旅游创新方面的专家,并在可持续旅游实践的发展中做出了重要贡献。
