Over the years, LiPACE has developed into an established and mature post-secondary, continuing and professional education provider which makes an important contribution to the University. It performs complementary but vital roles in fulfilling the University's founding mission of providing education for all, as evidenced by the extensive range of disciplines covered and study levels of its programmes, as well as the diversity in age, nationality and occupation of its learners.
LiPACE has a rigorous quality assurance system which ensures high-quality provision of learning opportunities for HKDSE graduates, people in the workforce, and the public. To maintain the relevance and currency of its programmes, LiPACE maintains a strong network with industry, and collaborates with local and overseas professional bodies and institutions in curriculum design, programme delivery and provision of work integrated learning experience to students.
In the years to come, LiPACE will make concerted effort to work towards its founding mission of serving the broadest constituency of learners in Hong Kong straddling formal and non-formal learning. It will continue to strengthen and diversify its programme provisions to embrace a wide portfolio of full-time and part-time VPET programmes in different disciplines and at different levels to create value for learners at different stages of their learning needs.
