Terms and Conditions
  1. The “APA Citation Mini-Series” (referred as “Quiz” below) is open to all active students and staff of the Hong Kong Metropolitan University. An active student refers to a student who is currently enrolled in a course in Spring term 2026 (January 2026).
  2. Upon joining this Quiz, all participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
  3. Participation in this Quiz is accepted only through the dedicated online form. Other means of participation and submission will not be accepted.
  4. The Quiz consists of two parts. Participants may join either one or both parts. Entries with all quiz questions answered correctly and a valid HKMU email address provided will earn 1 point per part in the Smart Researcher Badge Programme. Completing both parts with full scores will earn a total of 2 points.
  5. If the same student or staff ID number is submitted multiple times, only the most recent submission will be considered valid.
  6. Each participant can submit more than one completed quiz form. However, each participant who achieves a full score can only earn 1 point per quiz part in the Smart Researcher Badge Programme.
  7. All personal information collected through the Quiz will be kept confidential and used solely for purposes related to the Quiz and its promotional activities.
  8. The personal information submitted by participants must be complete and accurate. If any information is found to be incomplete, incorrect, or repeatedly used or registered, the Library reserves the right to disqualify such participant.
  9. The Library reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant it deems to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions. The decision of the HKMU Library shall be final.
