About IT Service Desk

For any IT service request, a staff can always submit the service request via the IT Service Desk system. It is a workflow system that keeps track of your request. Requester can always check the status on-line about his/her request until the completion of the request. For requests which require additional resource, departmental approvers can approve or reject the request via the system. The followings are the common service requests being covered by the system: 

  • IT Support on Hardware/Software
  • Hardware and Software Requisition or Loan
  • User Accounts and Access
  • IT service for Event Support, e.g. Public talks, InfoDay, Walk-in and Language Examination, etc
  • Job request for SAS/Web

 For service request on application system development (e.g. MIS, SAS), infrastructure building (e.g. WiFi, IP Phone), requester can also contact the related IT team members directly.
