Information Technology Office ITO has 6 sections, namely, Management Information Systems Section, Student Information Section, Systems Administration Section, Data Centre and Special Projects Section, User Services Section, and Administration Section. Management Information Systems Section. To develop and implement administrative application systems to meet the operation needs of the administration units. Student Information Systems Section. To develop systems and applications supporting users in student related administration activities; and to sustain portal and web content management with associated users support. Systems Administration Section. To provide system administration and support on IT infrastructure and operations including office automation, database administration, directory service, campus network, virtual desktop, server and storage virtualization, student emails, library systems and IP phone. Data Centre and Special Projects Section. To provide operation and technical support on IT services and facilities, including information security control, data center management, computing environment, use of IT equipment, and special projects. User Services Section. To provide hotline support on student enquiries, technical support on IT services and facilities including computer laboratory/computer center, learning center, classroom and staffs. Administrative Support Section. To provide internal administrative supports for the Unit. |
