The School of Arts and Social Sciences organised an “Artist-in-Residence” programme. The award-winning science fiction author Stanley Qiufan Chen was invited to conduct a series of public lectures and workshops from February to March. He shared his writing experiences and insights on the future of creative writing in the age of AI, encouraging students from all disciplines interested in science fiction to explore this emerging form of creative writing. He emphasised its potential as a process of self-exploration and inspiration in our ever-changing era. A forum on his new book 《剎海》was held as the final session of the programme. Students have created several high-quality science fiction with Chen's supervision.

人文社會科學院舉辦了“駐校藝術家”計劃，很榮幸邀請到屢獲獎項的科幻小說作家陳楸帆於2025年2月至3月舉行十場公開講座及工作坊，分享創作經驗及看法，並鼓勵同學們多多探索創意寫作。最後一場為其科幻新作《剎海》的首場對談會。學生在其指導下完成了多篇高質量的科幻習作。
