Biography

I am a Lecturer in Translation Studies from the Department of Humanities, Language and Translation at Hong Kong Metropolitan University. I hold a PhD in queer translation studies from Hong Kong Baptist University. I am an experienced translation practitioner, trainer and researcher. 

Teaching Areas & Research Interests

  • My research focuses on queer (literary) translation, queer popular culture, queer activism, multimodality in translation, and gender and sexuality studies. Courses taught: Literary Translation, Translation for Professional Translators (MA level), Introduction to Translation Studies, University English Reading and Writing, Presentation Skills, Chinese Culture and Society, etc.
