Biography

Dr. Kwong received his Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Newcastle University upon Tyne, the UK. Prior to this, he earned a Master of Science in Finance from the City University of Hong Kong, a Master of Philosophy in Computing and a Bachelor of Arts in Computing, both from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Academic & Professional Experience

Before joining HKMU, Dr. Kwong served as a Senior Lecturer at CPCE, HKPU. At CPCE, he was the Programme Leader of the Associate Degree in Business (Business Management) and the Award Leader for the BA(Hons) Business in Finance. Additionally, he was the Discipline Leader in Accounting and Finance. As an educator, Dr. Kwong specializes in economics, risk management, investments, and FinTech. At CPCE, he earned the “Caring Teacher Award”, “Inspiring Teaching Award” and “Lively Teaching Award”.
