【Conference Theme】
Cross-Disciplinary Exploration of Global Creative Writing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
【Conference Content】
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, the global humanities are undergoing a certain degree of change and adjustment. Chinese creative writing, as an important sub-discipline of Chinese language and literature, is also facing new opportunities and challenges. The application of technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and virtual reality is influencing the traditional models of creative writing, bringing new possibilities to literary creation, the cultural industry, and the field of education. Against this backdrop, exploring the cross-domain development of global creative writing in the era of artificial intelligence has become a key issue of concern for both academia and industry.
The development of creative writing needs to respond to the demands of the times and embrace innovation. The emergence of artificial intelligence technology provides new tools and perspectives for creative writing, while also posing challenges to writers' creative thinking, narrative techniques, and stylistic innovation. With the advancement of globalization, interdisciplinary, cross-linguistic, and cross-regional research in creative writing is gaining increasing attention. How can we promote the collaborative development of creative writing in a multicultural context? How can creative writing contribute to the development of regional cultural industries and the public cultural construction of areas such as the Greater Bay Area? How can we advance theoretical and practical innovations in creative writing within both basic and higher education? Exploring these questions is of great significance to the future development of the discipline of Chinese creative writing.
In light of this, the 11th Annual Conference on Chinese Creative Writing will take “Cross-Domain Exploration of Global Creative Writing in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” as its theme. We sincerely invite creative writing researchers, educators, and scholars from related fields around the world to gather in Hong Kong to deeply discuss the theoretical innovations and practical developments of global creative writing in the era of artificial intelligence.
We look forward to participants continuing the spirit of academic exploration from previous conferences, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence technology and creative writing, and jointly promoting the development of the discipline of Chinese creative writing and enhancing its international influence. This symposium will explore more possibilities for creative writing in the era of artificial intelligence, injecting new vitality into literary creation and cultural development.
